Morgan did not know her name, but she kept thinking about it. She was a soul taken over by a cloak of history and expectations, invisible binders and myopic conventions. That made her feel like she owed the world an apology.

What That Moment Meant

I was not sure if she was really looking at me, as I could feel a sense of vague acknowledgement. However, I soon confirmed the glance and continued gazing at her.
